YAA's Inaugural Exhibition

Welcome to the Call for Art for YAA's Inaugural Exhibition at the York Art Association!
The first exhibition in York Art Association's new location at 591 Linden Avenue, formerly known as the Little Green Church, will be held October 16 through December 13, 2026.  Our intent is to design a member only, unique, celebratory one-time event to display our members' strongest work.  To this end, 110 artworks will be vetted by a curator who will choose zero to one digital entry of work per artist for acceptance into the exhibition.  Members are encouraged to enter up to 3 pieces of art to vie for a position in this special display.  There are no entry fees or awards given.

Member artists may enter under any genre, but our exhibition falls under these main categories: Acrylic, Digital Media, Drawing, Mixed Media, Oil, Pastel, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Textiles, Watercolor, and "Other." There is no theme.  Please see our "Digital Media and Photography Policy" for more information regarding what is accepted into our exhibitions
Digital Submission Guidelines are detailed in the registration process. (JPEG, JPG, PNG Images of 960 minimum to 1920 maximum pixel length on longest side of image at 300ppi resolution. Smart phone pictures are appropriate for submitting your work.
