WVA NORTH Member Exhibit at CVA in Wausau, WI  2026
Entry Fees
 $20 for current Wisconsin Visual Artist NORTH Chapter members$10 for Wisconsin Students - (must be 18 years old & actively enrolled)Artists may enter up to two (2) pieces for jurying 
Entry Deadline:  February 6, 2026  at 11:59 pm via ArtCall link
Artist Notification: No later than February 17th, 2026
Results of juror selection will be emailed directly to the email the artist provides within the ArtCall entry form no later than February 17th, 2026. Artists can also log into their ArtCall account to see the results after February 17th, 2026. Accepted artists will be posted online at wisconsinvisualartists.org after February 17th, 2026.

Eligibility
All current members of the WVA NORTH ChapterArtists must be at least 18 years of ageStudents must be actively enrolled and produce documentation of enrollment. Please send proof of current student enrollment to the North Chapter chair, Christine Style: nechapter@wisconsinvisualartists.orgAll visual art processes are eligible except for reproductions of work originally created in another medium

Artwork Guidelines
No size or media restrictions (Note: for pieces larger than 10' in any direction, WVA's NORTH Chapter chair will contact you with any concerns prior to the jurying process)Must be original work; no reproductions of artwork will be accepted Work must be completed after 2020.Work must not have been previously exhibited at CVA in Wausau or in a previous WVA North Chapter exhibit.
TO ENTER: Submissions will be made through ArtCall. New ArtCall users will be required to create an ArtCall profile with a user login and password. Existing ArtCall users need only to log in and follow the process for a new submission.The preferred method of payment is a credit card on the ArtCall site (via Stripe). A Stripe account is not required for payment.--- Checks are accepted by using the Promo Code "Check" at checkout.         After you submit, you must mail a check to:         Wisconsin Visual Artists, (North Member Exhibit), P. O. Box 250699, Milwaukee, WI  53225If a check is not received within 7 days of entry, the submissions will not be included in the jurying process.  Entrants selecting the Student Fee must send proof of enrollment to the North Chapter chair (nechapter@wisconsinvisualartists.org).
Submission Guidelines
Artist's Statementa 200 word maximum artist's statement is to be included in the registrationDo not include personal or biographic information (including your name) in the statementImage files:1-3 images for each 2D work may be submitted: a primary and optionally, a close view, and a view showing scale      Primary image should NOT include mat and frame unless they are integral to or a part of the artwork3 images for each 3D work may be submitted: multiple viewsMinimum file size is 1MB (1000kB); maximum file size is 5MBDocumentation imagery with blur or reflection will not be acceptedThree (3) images or video (mp4 or mov) for 3D artwork will be acceptedPerformance videosVideo submissions must be monitor-viewable (not projection)Videos should be mp4 or mov formatA pdf with a link to a longer video is allowed. Please remove identifying information2D work must include hardware for hanging. Two points of contact are preferred. NOTE about CVA Gallery: The CVA gallery uses a track system for 2D artwork. Artwork should be able to hang from a wire, cleats, or D-Drings (recommended for large, heavy work), or other compatible hanging methods. No sawtooth hangings are allowed.  Works with only a matt will not be accepted.  Check with the North Chapter chair if unsure. (nechapter@wisconsinvisualartists.org)--- The CVA is not responsible for damage due to the failure of the hanging device to hold the artwork.--- Works on paper must be framed or mounted, or have an alternative pre-approved hanging method.--- Art must not have been shown before at CVA. --- Work left at the CVA 30 days after the exhibit ends, or where no return shipping arrangements are made, will become the property of CVA.
Commitment to Exhibit 
With entry into the WVA NORTH Member Exhibit at CVA, artists commit to exhibiting their work, if selected as a finalist, for the duration of the exhibit. Withdrawing artwork after acceptance as a finalist disqualifies the artist from award consideration and from future exhibits. Artists are not allowed to “swap” out a piece of artwork that was accepted for another work. 
Any alteration of the artwork causing substantial deviation from the entered image(s) may disqualify the artwork from the exhibit at the sole discretion of WVA and CVA personnel. 
Copyright
All artists are responsible for ensuring their subject matter does not include any copyright infringements. The artist waives CVA & WVA of all legal responsibilities if the artist is challenged by another party for copyright infringement. By submitting your artwork, you are confirming you have secured any required releases and are not in violation of any laws.  Use of Artificial Intelligence - AIIf AI was used in the creation of the artwork, it MUST be noted in the medium field, along with the percentage of the work where AI was used.
Delivery & Pick Up of Artwork 
Drop-Off/Shipping:---  In-Person Drop-Off: March 11 - 14, 2026 during gallery hours  CVA Gallery Hours--- Shipped work should arrive by March 14, 2026.   Use a reusable shipping container, and a pre-paid return shipping label is required.  No packing peanuts.
Exhibit Installation dates: March 16-24, 2026
Pick-Up/Shipping:---  In-Person Pick-Up: May 26 - 28, 2026, during gallery hours--- Shipped work will be sent to the artist by May 28, 2026, using your provided pre-paid return shipping label.NOTE: Work left at the CVA 30 days after the exhibit ends or where no return shipping arrangements are made, will become the property of CVA.
Image Use
By entering work in this exhibition, the artist gives WVA and MOWA the right to use images for digital and print promotional purposes.

Exhibition and Programming 
All questions regarding the exhibition, installation, and programming should be directed to Graeme Reid at greid@wisconsinart.org
Sales 
Work need not be for sale to be eligible for the exhibition. MOWA will contact the artists with sales enquiries, and coordination of the sales and delivery will be directly between the buyer and the artist. Artwork must remain on site until the final date of the exhibition.
Liability 
All artwork selected for the exhibit will be insured by the CVA against damage and theft while in the gallery's care.  The artists are responsible for insuring their hand-delivered or shipped work. WVA is not liable for damage to artwork in transit or during the exhibit. All work must remain in the gallery for the entire show. The CVA cannot insure any artwork for an amount exceeding 70% of its retail value. Any irregularities must be reported within 30 days of the artwork's return. CVA is not liable for damage to artwork in transit, but appropriate insurance is provided during the exhibit.
