 Arts and Culture Colwood Society invites Members to enter non-juried wall artwork for the upcoming Pottery Show ’A Well Clayed Table’. Exhibition dates are October 23rd to November 16th 2025. The pottery for this show will be a juried exhibition that honors the artistry and tradition of handcrafted tableware, celebrating the essential role of pottery in the rituals of dining, gathering, and sharing. The criteria for the wall art is to depict handmade pottery of any kind in a still life setting with or without other types of objects. Scenes of family/ friends gathering around a table would be most welcome, as well as strictly still life or abstraction along the theme of table tops with/ or pottery shapes. It must be artwork intended to hang on the wall including 3D that will hang with our hanging wire/hook system. To submit pottery for plinths, please email Gina at policy@artsandculturecolwood.ca for information. The Wall Art can be any size, in any medium, but must be wired with D-rings and framed, if the substrate is less than 1.5 inches deep. You may submit two pieces at $20 submission fee each. We may call for a third piece at no charge, if by call end we need more art to fill the walls.
