Reimagining the timeless symbol of Venus, this show moves beyond traditional ideals of beauty to explore themes of strength, transformation, and self-definition. Through diverse artistic voices, Venus Reclaimed honors the modern woman—unapologetic, dynamic, and deeply rooted in her own narrative.Submissions Guidelines (Please read carefully)Submissions may include, but are not limited to: paintings, drawings, photography, digital, mixed media, and sculpture. Works should be thought-provoking, emotionally resonant, and relevant to the themes of the exhibit. All submitted works should be original, and artists may submit up to 3 pieces for consideration. Eligibility: Open to all artists 18 years and older worldwide working in any 2D or 3D medium including drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, mixed media and sculpture. Installation, digital, and video art are not eligible for this opportunity due to space limitations. Artwork Size Restrictions: All work must be no larger than 50" wide.Shipping: Artists will be responsible for shipping and delivery to and from the gallery. Physical and Online Shows: All accepted works will be listed on Artsy.net. A selection of the works accepted will also be hung in our gallery showroom. If selected, you'll be notified if your work was selected for physical, online or both.Art Sales: Artwork MUST be available for sale. There is a 50% commission on all gallery salesParticipation Rules:By submitting your art to us, you grant 33 Contemporary Gallery and 33PA permission to publish your work in print, online, and in social media for exhibition and marketing purposes. All artwork will be attributed to the artist. By participating, you certify that you are the rightful owner of the art and that it does not infringe in any copyright violations.Selection Process:Selected artists will be notified via email no later than February 3, 2026.Submission Fee: Early bird submissions $30 for up to 3 artworks. $35 after January 15, 2026Artwork Requirements:High-resolution and clear images of the artwork (JPEG format only).Shipping: Artists will be responsible for shipping to and from the gallery if the artwork is not sold. All accepted artwork must be in the gallery by February 28, 2026 in order to participate. No exceptions.Frequently Asked Questions1. Does the artwork need to be framed?Paintings do not need to be framed but edges must be clean and dry. Works on paper must be framed for security and protection.2. Is there a size limit?Yes! Artwork may not exceed 50" wide.3. Is digital art eligible?Digital art is not accepted for this particular exhibition.4. Can I submit more than one piece?Yes, you may submit up to three different works for consideration with the same entry fee.5. Does the work have to be for sale?Yes, ALL artwork must be available for sale in order to participate.
