Welcome to URBAN SKETCH 2026
A new drawing competition and exhibition: 1-30 MAY 2026
Calling all artists!A month-long show featuring work by artists from the Urban Sketchers movement and from an Open Call for Entries for any artist of any age working in drawing and sketching.
The exhibition will take place at The Art Department, Paisley in brand new galleries at 9-11 Causeyside Street, Paisley PA1 1UW

The exhibition will be accompanied by a series of workshops dedicated to sketching and drawing looking at architecture, mapping, perspective drawing and exploring materials and techniques.
Workshop artists: Liz Reid, Marcer Campbell, Fiona Fleming, Russell MacEwan, Eoghann MacColl
An element of the exhibition will be “Sketch Live” where work made on the day of the workshops from in and around the town can be shown as they emerge.

Sales Commission is 30% (with VAT@20% on the commission element only).  Remittance of sale proceeds will be by 1st July 2026
