Description

"Fusion" at Strathmore: the 35th Annual Juried Exhibition
Home Page

Fusion welcomes growth through combination. From stars creating the elements that make up our universe to the harmonizing flavors from different cultures in a dish, fusion represents not only the new, but the accomplishment of creation. Fusion mixes materials, genres, and ideas through artistic vision to spark creativity. Strathmore invites artists to explore the idea of fusion, using their own style to create original multi-medium work for this juried show.  This call welcomes any combination of both abstract and representational art, including drawing, painting, mixed media, assemblage, sculpture, and everything in between to accomplish a work.

Artwork may be of any style and medium and may invite the viewer to actually touch the artwork.

Artists from within the DMV region and beyond are encouraged to apply.
Submission Fee A submission fee of $36 is required for each artist submitting up to 8 works. Submission fees are non-refundable, but they are tax-deductible.
