Shippensburg University's Scholastic 144

Welcome to the Scholastic 144 Juried High School Exhibition. The Scholastic 144 is geared toward displaying some of the region's best high school juniors and seniors art work. This contest is geared toward high school juniors and seniors living in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia and Ohio. 
Size Limitations:
All artwork submitted must not exceed 144 square inches. For two dimensional work (the picture plane) may not exceed 144 square inches. Three dimensional work may not exceed 12” (Height) x 12” (Width) x 12” (Depth); including the base or supporting plane.
Display specifications:
Presentation / outside dimensions if mounted, matted, and or framed, may not exceed 324 square inches. WHITE or BLACK is strongly recommended for mounting, and matting materials. Height x Width = Square Inches. All framed work must have a braided hanging wire. Unframed matted/mounted  work will be installed using double backed tape or other.
Submissions Requirements: 
There is a $10 entry fee per entry.  
All entries must be made through artcall.org 

There is no limit to the number of submissions made by one school, but the contest will close and be juried once we reach 300 entries; so, you do not want to delay in entering. 
All submitted artwork must have been completed with-in the last year (since October 2, 2024), and must be completed by a high school junior or senior.Categories 
The following categories are eligible for this exhibition: Ceramic & Glass, Design, Digital Art, Drawing, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture.  A description of each category is found at the end of the Terms and Conditions page. 

A Few Important Notes :
Original work is defined as inventive, creative, and highly distinctive. Do not submit copies, reproductions or duplications of previously printed materials, online images, art, or photographs.  If the work is not for sale, give a value - followed by NFS. Value on submission may not be changed. The Kauffman Gallery will not take a commission on sales from this exhibition. The Kauffman Gallery and Shippensburg University reserves the right to photograph works for publicity and future advertising purposes. Entry in the exhibition will constitute agreement to the terms and conditions described herein.
