Theme – Season of Lights:

Inspired by the thousands of twinkling holiday lights that illuminate the nearby San Antonio Riverwalk, Season of Lights invites artists to share works that reflect warmth, wonder, and the uplifting spirit of the season.
Whether your art literally or metaphorically explores the concept of light, this exhibit is a celebration of the creative spark that brightens our community during the holidays.
While the theme offers inspiration, artists are welcome to interpret it broadly and submit works that showcase their unique style and appeal to holiday collectors.

Artwork Requirements:

Size:
To ensure a diverse and manageable display, submitted work should not exceed 24" x 30" in overall size, including framing if applicable.
Price Point: Works should be priced with holiday shoppers in mind. A suggested price cap is $1000, though final pricing is absolutely at the artist’s discretion.
Mediums:
All media are welcome, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, ceramics, fiber art, glass, and mixed media.

Presentation:

2D Works: Must be ready to hang with secure hardware—either framed or gallery-wrapped.
3D Works: Must be stable, self-supporting, and safe for public display. Size limit no larger than 18x18x18 and no heavier than 25 lbs.
For the safety of the work and the curators and installers, these presentation guidelines are non-negotiable and work that is not securely and professionally presented for installation with be returned to the artist.

Number of Submissions:

Each artist may submit up to three pieces for consideration for the $20 entry fee.
The Juror and the Curators from the Art League will select and install works based on visual consistency, quality, and appeal to ensure a cohesive group presentation.
