About AAC –a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. AAC was founded in 1954 by a small group of watercolor painters searching for a place to paint and exhibit their work. After a series of rented spaces, this growing group of artists pooled their resources to obtain the space now known as Atlanta Artists Center. Located on a charming street in the bustling heart of Buckhead, it is one of the oldest non-profit Art Organizations in Georgia.
