Exhibition Summary: The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) presents a juried art exhibition at Maumee Bay State Park, celebrating Ohio’s vibrant birding culture and natural landscapes through visual art. This exhibition invites artists from across the state to reflect on the beauty, diversity, and wonder of birdlife and the ecosystems that support them.
Artwork that explores themes such as birds and birdwatching, the natural habitats that support them, and our connection to the outdoors is highly encouraged. While the use of recyclable or sustainable materials is not required, it is welcomed as an added layer of engagement with the theme.
Set against the backdrop of one of Ohio’s most treasured birding destination, this exhibition aims to inspire park visitors through creative expression that uplifts Ohio’s natural spaces and the birds that call them home.
