NOTE: If accepted, we place your art on our website as part of the Online show. What you write with your entry is what we copy/paste. Please be sure you get it right. It is also what we use for our wall labels. We will NOT make changes in your Text or Prices after the Call For Entries has ended, unless we are at fault. DOUBLE CHECK everything by closing out ArtCall and then going back in to check before the end of the Call for Entries.

Submission Details:
If you are entering ArtCall for the first time, you will need an artist statement for your profile- 200 WORD limit in first person the first time you register in ArtCall.

1. Do not create a portfolio site to enter the show. A portfolio is a website.

2. The way you fill out the details is how they will be shown on the labels, awards, and publicity.

a. Name: Use capital letters for the first letters of your name.

b. Prices - DO NOT TYPE IN A COMMA. This produces the wrong price--ArtCall will add it automatically.

c. Measurements - HEIGHT first, then Width then Depth (H x W x D)

d. Verbiage regarding the piece of art - a description of the work, why and/or how you created it. The character limit is 300, including spaces!! This is used for all publicity  and labels online and inhouse. Spellcheck it as well as word count it! We use it exactly the way you have written it in ArtCall, by copy/pasting what you type. We will NOT change prices or wording after the Call For Entries ends, unless we are at fault.
—2D IMAGE REQUIREMENTS (no background showing, please)
FRAMED: 3 images of each piece are required:

one image of the art without frameone close detail image (zoomed into a small section of interest)
one with art in frame

—the framed image should be included before the CFE ends
NOTE: if the work is framed, we must have the outside measurements of the frame (H x W x D). Please do not guess. If we do not have the measurements for the art and/or the framed art, your piece will not be considered to jury.
UNFRAMED: 2 images are required if work is unframed

one image of the art
one close detail image (zoomed into a small section of interest)

Walls and backgrounds SHOULD BE CROPPED OUT in photos. When taking the digital image please make sure the photo is not skewed, at an angle, or crooked.
—3D IMAGE REQUIREMENTS (PLAIN backgrounds, please)
For each 3D, installation, or wearable art entry, submit 3 images:

one overall front image
one overall rear or sideview image
one close detail image (zoomed into a small section of interest). Detail images should show an important aspect of the art. Make sure that both the full-view and detail images are oriented correctly.

—VERY IMPORTANT: You can go back in and add/delete/edit images and edit text until the Call For Entries ends. Do NOT delete an entire submission and then replace it with a new one--ArtCall will charge you for a new submission! Instead, change the details and delete/add images of the entry you already submitted.
Again, we copy/paste all the text you put in ArtCall, so please check everything. We will not be making changes after the CFE ends, unless the mistake is on our end.
