ABOUT THE EXHIBIT: It's remarkable to reflect on the journey of the NH Art Association since its inception in 1940. In those early days, photography was overlooked as a fine art medium, absent from our exhibitions. However, thanks to the pioneering advocacy of Lotte Jacobi, the perception shifted, and photography found its rightful place within our organization. Today, we proudly uphold a legacy of showcasing some of the finest photographers in New England, a testament to Lotte Jacobi's enduring impact. In honor of her contributions, we are proud to name this exhibition after her. We invite New England artists working in photographic mediums to submit 1-3 pieces, continuing our tradition of celebrating this important art form and preserving our organization's rich history.
