Description
Globeducate Arts Competition 2025
The Globeducate Arts Competition is an annual international event that brings together young artists from Globeducate schools worldwide to showcase their creative talents. Open to students aged 5 to 18 across all our schools globally at a local level, with final submissions made virtually, this competition spans multiple artistic disciplines, including visual arts, photography, and performing arts.
Each year, the competition adopts a unique theme aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), encouraging students to explore important global issues through their creative work. The Arts Competition not only enhances students' artistic skills but also fosters critical thinking, creativity, and empathy—skills essential for success in the modern world.
The ThemeThis year the theme for our competition is “Art: A Universal Voice”. Students and teachers are encouraged to use their creativity to develop the theme in any way they wish.
Sustainable Development Goal Link‘Art: A Universal Voice’ aligns with SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. The arts transcend language, culture, and borders, offering a peaceful means of communication and expression. They promote tolerance, dialogue, and understanding, and are often used in peacebuilding efforts to foster social cohesion and reconciliation.
Through the competition, students will be encouraged to explore how artistic expression can promote connection, understanding, and harmony in a diverse and sometimes divided world.
