Canadian Waters Online Exhibition 2026

Location: OnlineSubmission Deadline: April 23, 2026 at 2:00 pm EDTExhibition Dates: May 2, 2026 – July 31, 2026Awards to be announced at the CSPWC/SCPA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, May 2, 2026.Jurors: Submissions will be juried by Helen Shideler CSPWC SCA CPHR, Margaret Roseman CSPWC SCA TWS and Gord Jones CSPWC SCA.

The CSPWC/SCPA is proud to present this online exhibition for Elected Members.
This online exhibition is exploratory in techniques and materials, for the first time including Yupo and watercolour grounds.Please note that the title “Canadian Waters” does not denote a theme or requirement in terms of subject matter. Painting a subject related to this title will have no bearing on jurying or awards.Entries are divided into the following two categories:

Water-based Media: per the CSPWC/SCPA definition of water-based media. See Terms & Conditions for the full description.Experimental: open to submissions painted on Yupo or a watercolour medium ground, paste, texture.

In both categories, the artwork must maintain the character and appearance of watercolour.Artists may enter a total of two (2) paintings between either category. Up to two (2) paintings may be juried in per artist.Submissions in both categories will be eligible for certain awards (to be announced). Each artist with a successfully juried in submission(s) is eligible to receive ONLY one (1) award across the exhibition.IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THIS EXHIBITION BEFORE ENTERING.
