Artists’ Narratives: Their History and Identity

CALL FOR ENTRIES

Exhibition Dates: March 20, 2025 to May 8, 2025

This call, Artists’ Narratives: Their History and Identity, beckons you to share. How often in our daily lives are we asked to reveal who we are? Here is a rare chance to “tell about yourself.” Our call invites expressions of you through your creative process. The Belvedere Tiburon Library Art Gallery encourages you to submit works that portray your story visually: we want to know you through your art.
Bring us into your inner world. Let us know your thoughts, feelings, likes, or dislikes. Tell us about yourself through symbolism, colors, medium. Or allow us to know you by including spiritualism, personal mythology, or family portraits in your submissions. Insert yourself in your work with visual elements, iconography, and signature “tells”.
We welcome your submitted artwork for consideration. This is a wide-ranging call for artists to interpret broadly. Submissions may include painting, drawing, mixed media, fiber, textile, and photography. Jurists will consider originality, mastery, and overall artistic expression but especially how well you narrate your story in your chosen medium.
