Now accepting entries for Art Newport’s Juried Fine Arts Show at the Newport Harbor Island Resort.
This is a great opportunity to showcase your art and be a part of this exciting exhibition!

JURIED FINE ARTS SHOW:
Special Viewing for Ostara Ball guests: Friday, March 28, 5 - 7pm
Open to the Public:  Saturday, March 29, 11am - 5pm & Sunday, March 30, 11am - 4pm
Application Deadline: Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11:59pm EST
Notification of Acceptance: Friday, March 7, 2025
Entry Fee: Members of the Newport Artists Collective - no fee
      Non-members - $35   Students - $20
      Fees are non-refundable
Exhibition Options: Accepted artists will have the option of having their own 10x10 booth or exhibiting with other artists in a shared space
Shipping / In-person installation date: Thursday, March 27, 2025

1. Theme and Scope
Open Theme
Mediums Accepted: painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, drawing, printmaking and pastel

2. Eligibility
All artists 16 years of age and older can apply
Each artist must submit 3 - 5 JPEGs of work, representative of the type of work you wish to exhibit at Art Newport

3. Artwork Specifications
2D works can be as small as 12" x 12" and up to 60" x 40." If larger works are preferred by the artist, please specify size / dimensions of each piece for consideration
3D work must not weigh more than 100 lbs
2D work must be framed, gallery-wrapped or finished on the edges (painted) and ready to hang with proper wiring. No saw-tooth hangers, tape or push pins
Framed works on paper must be under glass or acrylic glazing
All work must be original. No reproduction or painted giclee prints allowed
Ensure the work does not violate copyright or intellectual property laws
Exhibition Space:
Art Newport will provide an elegant indoor exhibition space with 10ft-tall white walls with track lighting and pedestals for 3D art. All labels and signage for the artist will also be provided by Art Newport
Accepted artists will have the option of having their own 10 x 10 Booth to display their artwork OR have the option to display their work in a shared space
10 x 10 booth - $100 (includes set-up of walls and track lighting)
Shared Space - $50
Booths will be assigned by Art Newport
All artists that are juried in will also receive a complimentary ticket ($250 value) to the Ostara Fine Arts Ball, which will kick off Art Newport on Friday, March 28th
Artist or Artist Representative are required to be present while the show is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday
There will be ample parking and discounted hotel rates available for exhibitors
Each artist must submit 3 - 5 JPEGs of work, representative of the type of work you wish to exhibit at Art Newport
4. Submission Process
All entries submitted online through ArtCall.org
File format (JPEG) and 300 DPI resolution
5. Notification of Decision:
All applicants will be notified by Friday, March 7, 2025 if they have been juried into the show
6. Sales and Commissions:
All entries must be for sale
All art sales will be made through ART NEWPORT
The artist will receive 90% of the selling price and ART NEWPORT
will retain 10%
All payment processing will be done through ART NEWPORT
7. Liability:
While reasonable care will be exercised with all artwork, Newport Artists Collective, Art Newport and any other organization or individual connected with the exhibit will not be responsible for loss or damage of artwork. By entering this exhibit, the applicant agrees to the terms and conditions of the prospectus
8. Shipping:
All shipping charges to and from the exhibit are the responsibility of the artist
We recommend strong boxes from AirFloat Systems or similar shipping containers
