ART MAKER Magazine is thrilled to announce an international art call for our Spring / Summer Issue, an open-themed edition dedicated to contemporary artworks from around the globe.
ART MAKER Magazine Issue #3 is curated by Sienna Martz, award-winning fiber artist based in the United States.

About the curator, Sienna Martz:

SIENNA MARTZ is a renowned sculptor and fiber artist known for her innovative approach to material manipulation and sustainable practices. She has established a strong reputation for her compelling sculptures and installations that often explore nature's adaptability and are made with plant fibers, recycled, and upcycled materials to ensure her art has a minimal impact on our magnificent planet.

Sienna’s sculptures are in public and private collections worldwide. They are exhibited internationally in gallery and museum exhibitions, including in Seoul, Berlin, Rome, New York City, Chicago, Miami, and Los Angeles. Her work has been featured in major publications, including Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House & Garden, The World of Interiors, and Domino Magazine. International art museums, galleries, luxury hotels & apartments, art consulting firms, dance companies, botanical gardens, musicians, and non-profit organizations have commissioned her artwork. She received the 2024 Sculptor of the Year Singulart Award.

Sienna is represented by VFA Gallery in New York, New York; Gallery Les Bois in London, United Kingdom; and Soapbox Arts in Burlington, Vermont. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Sienna is currently based in Vermont.

ART MAKER Magazine is a new international publication dedicated to showcasing compelling contemporary art from across all disciplines ages 18 and older. Our mission is to connect artists with international collectors, galleries, and each other through a beautifully designed print and digital magazine, social media features, and our growing Community.

We are artist-run and dedicate ourselves to advancing your career. Offering financially accessible applications and no additional publishing fee, we send our magazine out to 50-60 galleries and agencies every cycle.  Additionally, your featured work gets seen by our growing network of collectors and curators through our social media and email lists. ART MAKER isn’t just another publication for your CV - we are artists just like you, working to help move your career forward. 
Selected artists will receive: 
A 2-page feature in ART MAKER Magazine Issue #3 - print and digital, with no additional publishing feeExposure on an international stage - copies of ART MAKER are received at 50-60 galleries and illustration agenciesThe option to be interviewed and discuss your practice further in our magazine, extending your feature to 4 pages.FREE access to the ART MAKER Community and future invites to virtual eventsFeatures on our website, growing social media channels, and in our newsletterDeeply discounted digital and physical copies of the magazine. Please note discounts on physical copies are only available to mailing addresses in the United States due to incredibly high shipping rates. Copies are also available on Amazon (unfortunately they do not allow us to discount them)

Please read all application instruction thoroughly. Applications missing critical information will not be considered.Applications are open to artists 18 years of age or older, worldwide. We will collect your full birth date to verify age, and will published your birth year to conform with international academic standards (ie: Julia Artist, b. 1986).Artists must submit at least 2 images to be considered.Accepted artists will receive deeply discounted digital and physical copies of the magazine. Please note discounts on physical copies are only available to mailing addresses in the United States due to incredibly high shipping rates. Copies are also available on Amazon (unfortunately they do not allow us to discount them). There is NO ADDITIONAL FEE to be published in the magazine. All images must be 300dpi, clear and well-lit. Blurry or lo-res images will not be accepted.By applying, applicants testify that all artwork is original and that they are the copyright owners. Commercial artwork submissions are welcome as long as the applicant has permission and / or copyright ownership. The artist is solely responsible for correctly citing any copyright ownership and permission exceptions. ART MAKER Magazine is not responsible for any errors in the artist’s provided copyright or permission information.All applicants are required to submit an artist statement or bioApplications missing required items will not be acceptedSelected artists will receive the first draft of the magazine issue for review prior to design finalization. 
Submission Fees
$10 for up to 4 images$20 for up to 10 images
Submission fees help compensate our staff for their hard work and cover the fees associated with running and promoting the magazine. There are no additional publication fees if selected.
