American Society of Photographers "Of the World: Shaped by Light, Place, and Time"2028 Traveling ExhibitionABOUT THE EXHIBITIONThe American Society of Photographers (ASP) invites members to submit artwork for consideration in Of the World: Shaped by Light, Place, and Time, a traveling exhibition scheduled for 2028.Selected by an independent jury of curators and artists, this exhibition will showcase contemporary photographic artwork representing a wide range of creative approaches, presentation methods, and subject matter. The resulting collection will offer audiences a look at the exceptional work being created by ASP artists and the diverse methods used to achieve the final artwork.Selected works may also be included in educational programming and promotional materials associated with the Exhibition Collection.TIMELINECall Opens:June 1, 2026, 9:00 AM Eastern TimeCall Closes:August 1, 2026, 11:59 PM Eastern TimeLate entries cannot be accepted.Artists selected for the Exhibition Collection will be notified during September 2026.Artists are encouraged to review the Accepted Artist Guide before entering to understand the responsibilities associated with participation in the Exhibition Collection.By submitting an entry, entrants agree to these rules and procedures and affirm that they are ASP members in good standing.ELIGIBILITYEntrants must be current ASP members in good standing at the time of entry and throughout the exhibition period.All ASP membership categories are eligible, including First Time Degree Holders.The ASP Exhibition Collection Committee retains sole discretion regarding eligibility determinations.ENTRY FEES & FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIESEntry FeesFirst 4 images: $125Additional images: $30 eachMaximum entries: 10 imagesEntry fees must be paid at the time of submission.If AcceptedAccepted artists contribute $100 per accepted artwork to support handling, packing, storage, transportation, and exhibition logistics.Accepted artists are also responsible for:Printing and presentation costsShipping artwork to the first exhibition locationReturn shipping from the final exhibition locationInsurance coverage during the exhibition periodArtwork may be offered for sale at participating venues. Venue commissions may vary and may be as high as 50%. JURY PROCESSEntries will be reviewed by a jury of curators and artists independent of ASP or PPA.Selected works will become part of a curated ASP Exhibition Collection that will travel to one or more exhibition venues. Selection decisions will be based on::CreativityArtistic and technical qualityOriginalityResponsiveness to the exhibition themeOverall visual and emotional impactPlease do not contact jurors, committee members, or ASP leadership regarding the status of submissions or jury decisions.
