Welcome to ACCORD 2025
An art exhibition in aid of ACCORD Hospice and the care provided in the local community.
Calling all artists!  ACCORD Hospice and The Art Department, Paisley Ltd are announcing a CALL FOR ENTRIES for the ACCORD Annual Art Exhibition which takes place for a 4th
year in The Art Department. The show will open on 15th April and run until 31st May 2025 - which gives it a 6-week long run to encourage more entries, increase sales and raise valuable funds for ACCORD in aid of palliative care.
The organisers are looking for entries for Paintings, Drawings, Sculptures, Ceramics, Textiles and Prints. Closing date for entries is 28th February 2025. The hanging fee will be £5 per piece of artwork, and artists can submit a maximum of 4 art works. Submissions must be made online via this site.
Exhibition highlights will include the return of the popular Mini Masterpieces – where artists can submit an artwork measuring 15cm x 15cm using their own materials; a new section of the show will be dedicated to a range of Souvenir, Limited-Edition Prints, Posters and Greetings Cards - artists are invited to donate artworks with 100% of purchases benefitting the fundraising campaign.
Also new to next year’s show will be a Featured Artists Programme, where organisers will invite artists with a particular interest or long association to the charity and ask them to submit up to 12 artworks for the show. ACCORD KIDS will show work by young artists aged 8-18, which we hope will attract a younger audience. A full colour catalogue will be available for sale and a range of raffle prizes will be on offer, with donations welcome from local businesses.
The show will be organised and managed by The Art Department in aid of ACCORD Hospice.  All Sales proceeds will benefit both charities.  Sales Commission is 50% with VAT @ 20% on the sales commission element only.  Remittance will be by 30th June 2025.Artists may wish to donate works 100% in favour of the charities and should indicate so in any entry description fieldPlease note no work will be accepted that is not for sale.
