Every year, the PDX Pop Now! Festival Artist helps set the visual tone for PDX Pop Now! Working with our Marketing & Artistic team, they are responsible for designing the artwork for our annual Festival and Compilation Album.

Please note, this is a volunteer position. A volunteer stipend will be provided.

Duration: March 2024 - September 2024

Responsibilities

The Festival Artist is responsible for designing a cohesive set of assets for the Festival and Compilation. This includes:
Designing the CD Artwork (four panel CD case + two disc images) for the annual Compilation Album.
Designing the Festival Poster artwork.
Creating a visual asset kit that can be used/scaled for merchandising (tee shirts/pins) and publicity (web banners, social media, etc).
Position Qualifications
Prior graphic design experience, ideally with prior experience using Adobe Creative Suite (or comparable software) to design posters and other print assets.
Passionate about local music and dedicated to PDX Pop Now!’s mission.
Some familiarity with Portland artists is preferred.
