Abstract Art comes in many forms from formal geometric simplicity to expressionism; from traditional materials to found assembled objects. The common thread running through this diverse category is the desire to depict more than what meets the eye, to go deeper than surface appearances.

Whether your art is inspired by the implications of quantum physics, metaphysics, spirituality, formal design or any combination, the Oak Park Art League invites you to submit your abstract explorations of art to this national juried exhibition.

All work must have been completed within the past 3 years and not previously exhibited at the Oak Park Art League

ARTWORK IS LIMITED IN SIZE TO (42”) IN THE LARGEST DIMENSION, including frame.

Sculptural work can be up to 24” high if it is freestanding but must be no more than 24” wide in the round.

All work MUST be ready to hang, with hanging wire. (ABSOLUTELY NO SAWTOOTH OR STRING HANGERS WILL BE ACCEPTED)
