Call for Artists: Spring 2027 Exhibition Proposals
Kipp Gallery, Indiana University of Pennsylvania

The Kipp Gallery at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invites artists and artist collectives to submit exhibition proposals for the Spring 2027 semester. We welcome applications from regional and national artists working across all media for solo or group exhibitions.

Gallery Information
Kipp Gallery is located in Sprowls Hall on the campus of Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pennsylvania. The gallery features approximately 1,200 square feet of exhibition space.

Submission Guidelines
Please submit your proposal as a single PDF that includes:
Cover Letter Exhibition Proposal
Artist Statement
CV
10 images of recent work (or links for time-based media); Include: title, medium, dimensions, year
Artist Website
Optional: Social media andle(s)
Optional: sketches, installation plans, or mockups

Deadline
August 26, 2026

Review Process
Proposals will be reviewed by the Kipp Gallery Committee.
All artists will be notified regarding their proposal status.

Selected Artists
Selected artists will receive an honorarium and funding to assist with the shipping and installation of work. Artists are responsible for organizing the transportation of artwork to and from the gallery.
Artists will receive curatorial guidance and installation support.
Selected artists are expected to engage with students on campus and the broader community through an artist talk that offers insight into their work and creative process. Artist talks are typically held in conjunction with the opening reception,

Kipp Gallery Floor Plan:
Walls covered with plasterboard over particle board, painted white
Ceiling height is 10’
Eight movable wall display units are available (8’ x 4’ x 2’), painted white
Electrical outlets on three main walls
Eight light tracks with movable light fixtures
Approx. 1200 sq. ft. available for display area 33’ x 40' x 35’
Glass window display outside of the gallery is 12'6"
Glass walls between glass doors at the front of the gallery
