Echoes of Lynch - Tribute to David Lynch Exhibition

Description

Whether you’re an established artist or an emerging creator, whether you work in painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, collage, installation, or any other form of contemporary art, this call for entries is for you.

We aim to pay tribute to David Lynch and the universe he has created.

The call is not limited to representations of Lynch or his characters but is also open to artists whose aesthetic or recurring themes resonate with his work. Each artist must include a short text with their application explaining why they chose the artwork they are submitting to the selection committee.

Online exhibition dates: July 15 – August 15, 2025
Eligibility: Open to all, all mediums, worldwide
Language: Submissions may be made in French or English
Selected artists: Finalists will be featured on the Opale Art website (20,000 page views/month) and promoted on our social media channels
Award: This is a juried exhibition. The winner will be interviewed in Opale Art Magazine Contemporain (French contemporary art magazine) and published on our website. They will also receive a rare copy of the book Lithos. 2007–2009 (192 pages of David Lynch’s lithographs, published for an exhibition in northern France in 2010).
Promotion: Opale Art will publish a catalogue of the exhibition
Fees: Participation is free.
