CALL FOR ARTISTS
“Destinations: Visual Artists Explore the Act of Travel and the Places We Roam”
A Juried Art Exhibit
Humans have always yearned to travel. To see things beyond their doorstep. Do we love the thrill of boarding a plane, train or ship? Or is it the exploration of new and exciting locales & diverse cultures? Do we look forward to travel as a shared experience; getting to know others we wouldn’t meet in our regular day-to-day lives? Or is it simply a means of disconnecting from that life for a while? Like most human experiences, traveling is different for different people. This exhibit asks the artist to showcase what travel is for them.
Artists are invited to submit up to three (3) images based on the theme (Travel) All mediums are welcome. Exhibit is limited to approximately 40 pieces. Submissions will be juried by a peer panel. Evaluations will be based on composition, impact, creativity, technical execution and consistency with the theme.
