We're thrilled to invite you to participate in the 10th Anniversary Festival of Cinema NYC Poster Design Competition! This is your chance to have your artwork featured as the official festival poster, showcased on the red carpet and throughout Forest Hills, Queens.
We are inviting artists and non-artists of all ages and from all over the world to submit an original design to represent the 10th anniversary edition of Festival of Cinema NYC. You do not have to be from NYC to enter! This contest open to everyone of all ages, demographics, and artist levels from around the world.
In addition to the honor of being selected as the face of the festival, the winner will receive a beautifully framed poster of their design, an all-access pass to festival events, and various festival swag. Plus, the top 10 entries will have their original artwork displayed at the Filmmaker Lounge throughout the festival.
The Contest runs from now until 11:59pm EDT May 29th, 2026. Winner will be notified by email and announced on our website and social media no later than June 11, 2026.

Top 10 entries will be given the opportunity to have their original poster artwork displayed at the Filmmaker Lounge throughout the 2026 Festival of Cinema NYC taking place this summer from August 7th - 16th in Forest Hills.
Winner of the poster design will also receive a beautifully framed 40” x 27” one sheet poster featuring their design and an all access pass that will let the winner attend all festival screenings, events and functions during the 2026 Festival of Cinema NYC.
In addition the winner will receive various festival swag. Final Prize may vary and is subject to change. Total prize package has an estimated value of $700 USD.
All Prizes will be distributed no later than December 31, 2026.
Please note the contest is specifically for designs meant to represent the 10th Anniversary Festival of Cinema NYC 2026. This is NOT a movie poster design contest. All ineligible entries will be disqualified
