DON SANTE'S THIRD AWARD FOR CONTEMPORARY ART

Description

The Monsignor Sante Montanaro Foundation announces the third edition of the Don Sante International Prize for contemporary art aimed at the promotion and valorisation of art in the territory in memory of the figure of Don Sante, illustrious citizen of Casamassima, historian, art enthusiast, music, literature.
The theme of the competition will be "Reality mirroring the interior dimension: new geographies of expression". A theme that represents an invitation to reflect on current events, encouraging artists to explore the dynamics, between interiority and exteriority, between the subjective world and surrounding reality, returning updated visions of the contemporary, according to their own personal languages.
The Prize is open to all Artists, without limits on age, gender, nationality or other qualification. Each artist can participate with only one work, published or unpublished. The work must not visibly display the artist's name in order to allow free evaluation by the Scientific Committee.
Techniques: painting, sculpture and installation, photographic art, video art, performance, virtual and multimedia art.
The sole winning artist will be awarded the Don Sante Prize for contemporary art which consists of a purchase prize of €2000.00. The work will become part of the collection of the Monsignor Sante Montanaro Foundation.
Registration for the Prize is completely free.
