Call for Submissions – Collective Memory: A Postcard Project
Submission Deadline: January 22, 2026
Online Exhibition: January 27 – February 21, 2026
In-Person Exhibition: February 16 – 21, 2026
Location: ArtSpeak Gallery, Windsor, ON, Canada

We invite artists, writers, and storytellers from Windsor-Essex and Internationally to participate in Collective Memory, a community art project and exhibition commemorating International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

This project honours all communities targeted by the Nazi regime - including Jewish people, Black people, the Roma and Sinti, 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, political prisoners, and people with disabilities - and seeks to uplift and document voices that have been silenced or overlooked.

Submission Guidelines
Format: Postcard, maximum size 4" x 6" (102 mm x 152 mm)
Quantity: Send as many postcards as you wish
Signature: Please sign your postcard
Include: Your name, home city/town, and country clearly on the postcard
Optional: Envelope (if you’d like to protect your postcard during mailing)
Mail your postcard creation by January 22nd, 2026 to:

Important Details
All postcards received by the deadline will be featured in both the online exhibition (Jan 27 – Feb 21, 2026) and the in-person exhibition at ArtSpeak Gallery (Feb 16 – 21, 2026).

Postcards will not be returned after the exhibition; they will be archived with the Windsor Jewish Federation & Community Centre.

There are no artist fees, no jury, and this call is open to all ages and skill levels.
