Huntingburg Wastewater Mural Project 2026

About the Huntingburg Wastewater Mural Project (HWMP):
The Huntingburg Wastewater Mural Project represents the final phase of completion for the City of Huntingburg’s new Wastewater Treatment Plant. The facility is prominently located adjacent to Historic League Stadium, Huntingburg City Park, and the Youth Soccer Fields, making it a highly visible site with consistent pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The exterior of the plant currently features a large concrete wall, offering a unique and expansive canvas for a large-scale mural. This project presents an opportunity to transform a functional piece of infrastructure into a visually engaging work of public art that enhances the surrounding recreational area and reflects the character, pride, and creativity of the Huntingburg community. The site also has the potential to support future mural updates over time, allowing the space to evolve for years to come.
