Campfire Poetry 2020 Call for Photographers, Painters, and Digital Artists

Description

The Campfire Poetry Project is looking for photographers, painters, and digital artists for a unique commission and subsequent exhibition opportunity. Selected artists will be given a poem and accompanying music to use as a launching point for their own series of works that capture and explore the emotional and thematic meanings of the text through the lens of more contemporary art forms. Interested artists should submit examples of work (diversity of styles is encouraged, if available) as well as a cover letter explaining their interest in the project, and any special attachment to poetry or literature worth considering to max@monticelloparkprod.com.

Selected artists will have their work presented in a project-specific exhibition sometime in 2020-2021, and will share in any revenues the producer/curator receives for their work. All reasonable and discussed expenses related to the creation of the work as well, and we are highly negotiable on the specifics to ensure that our collaborators have the space and freedom to create honest and artistically truthful work.
