Call for Native and Indigenous Art | Angels Gate Cultural Center

Angels Gate Cultural Center (AGCC) is now seeking contemporary and traditional art by Native and Indigenous artists for a group art exhibition. This exhibition will open the weekend of September 12, 2026 and close on October 11 in conjunction with the Many Winters Gathering of Elders. Held October 8-11, 2026 at AGCC, the Gathering plays a vital role in the Native community of greater Los Angeles, with the participation and support of the original peoples of the land. The vision of the Gathering is to host a sacred space for people to come together, with the intention to listen, learn from and support Indigenous communities, and to inspire a healthier future for all people in a four-day event of ceremony and knowledge sharing.

Only one submission form with up to 3 artworks can be submitted per artist. Due to the limited size of our gallery, we will not be able to show all submissions in the exhibition. A jury of Native Arts professionals will review all submissions and determine which works we can accommodate.

DEADLINE to submit: 11:59pm on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered.
