5/03 at Studio 503 Inaugural Exhibition

Description

Conveniently located in east downtown Greensboro, NC, an old paper recycling facility has gained new life through renovation and creativity. This exhibition calls for works by local artists in all media, aiming to connect the community to emerging and midcareer artists.

Event Dates: May 2-3, 2020

Eligibility: The call is open to all professional artists/artist teams over the age of 18 residing or maintaining a studio in Guilford County, NC. Artists are not required to be a member of Studio 503 to apply.

Entries: Each artist may submit up to three (3) works. Each work may be represented by two separate images: one full view and one detail view. Work must be submitted in high resolution digital format via file sharing site. For each entry please note: Title; Media; Size/Dimensions; Retail price or not for sale/insurance value; photo credit.

Entry Fee: $25.00. Includes up to three (3) submissions; maximum six (6) images. Invoiced after entry is received.

Entry Deadline: April 10, 2020

Conditions: All entries must be original and must be completed within the last 5 years. Size and weight of work is limited to that which can be moved by one person. Any work that is hung must weigh less than 25 pounds and measure no larger than 50” x 50” without special approval. Artwork must be appropriately framed or 1 1/4 inch or wider museum wrapped canvas and wired for hanging. Studio 503 reserves the right to reject entries that do not meet these requirements or is deemed unstable. All accepted work must have proper identification. No accepted work may be picked up before the closing of the exhibition. Work may be available for sale or must be identified as NFS. The retail price or insurance value provided in the entry email will be used; no changes may be made after the work is shipped/delivered to Studio 503.
