Show us your best work. All applicants must be at least 19 years of age and a resident of the state of Alabama. There are no membership requirements. Work deemed to be in violation of copyright law will not be accepted in the exhibition. There can be no AI assistance in any part of creating your work or in creating the photo of your artwork. We will be reviewing all submissions for copyright infringement and the use of AI.All artwork accepted into the exhibition must be hand delivered to the museum on the delivery date. IMPORTANT: Submitting artists must read through the "Calendar and Submission Guidelines" dropdown menu, the "Application Instructions" dropdown menu, and the Terms and Conditions tab at the bottom of any browser page. There is very important information there about size restrictions, how to submit your artwork via Art Call, important dates, copyright issues, and more.
Take great care to photograph your work in the best way. The juror will use that image(s) when selecting work for this exhibition.
This year's Juror is Gary Chapman, a wonderful artist and Professor Emeritus of Painting and Drawing, University of Alabama at Birmingham (MFA, Cranbrook Academy of Art; BA and BS, Berea College). See the Meet the Juror dropdown menu for more information about Mr. Chapman.
