Celebrating 2nd Annual APA Heritage Festival of the Arts

Join OH Art Foundation in celebrating APA Heritage Month this May! On the evening of Friday, May 17th, we’ll host our 2nd Annual APA Heritage Festival of the Arts with stunning performances, music, and an opening reception for our visual art exhibition.

VISUAL ARTISTS — OPEN CALL EXHIBITION

We welcome visual artists to submit to our open-call exhibition themed around passage. Its definition remains deliberately open to interpretation; perhaps your work deals with matters like physical displacement, the transience of time, or diaspora—or perhaps passage means something entirely different to you. We seek to spotlight pieces that examine the transformative. The exhibition will illuminate the liminal, unfolding itself into an exploration of what brings us all from one place to the next.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: April 19th, 2024
RESULTS ANNOUNCED BY: April 25th, 2024
EXHIBITION DATE: May 17th – July 14th, 2024

EXHIBITION LOCATION: Zhou B Art Center, 2nd Floor Exhibition Space (1029 W 35th St., Chicago, IL 60609)

Selected artists will be contacted individually by or before the specified date above.

All mediums are welcome, but please note all artwork must be ready to hang from a wall. If you require a 3D space, please contact us at contact@ohartfoundation.org to check availability before submitting a form.

All applications require a $25 donation, which help make community programming and exhibitions possible.
