Description
Aion Laboratory, a division of Ise-Shima Art Company in Japan, invites entries to the 2nd Aion Digital Art Prize (2026–2027).
Open worldwide to artists of any nationality and age. Individual and collaborative digital and media artworks are welcome, including video, animation, interactive art, digital installations, AR/VR, sound art and music. Previously exhibited or awarded works are eligible.
Deadline: 1 March 2027, 23:59 GMT. Applications opened on 1 April 2026. Online submission via an accessible work link and description; no travel required.
Entry fee: JPY 3,000 per work, non-refundable, payable by card or PayPal. One Grand Prize of JPY 50,000 and a printed certificate; up to 35 Aion Digital Art Prizes with certificates. Results: 5 May 2027.
AI-assisted work is allowed with disclosure; works made solely by AI are not eligible. Copyright remains with the artist; the full rules explain permission for the organizer to introduce, share and exhibit submitted works.
