2026 Sutton Awards

Thank you for taking time to learn more about a wildlife conservation issue and share it with others through art and essay.  We look forward to seeing your artwork!

Registration will be open from December 1st, 2025 to January 9th, 2026.

Submission for all awards are due by FRIDAY, JAN 9TH at 11:59p.m. No late submissions will be accepted.

The submission process is easy! Click the orange "Register & Apply" button near the top of this page to get started. Fill out the required forms and attach your artwork and essay for judging.
Attach your artwork in a JPG format and your essay as a PDF. 
You will upload both the artwork and essay attachments in the same place.The categories for this year are:2-D: Artists will submit a maximum of two images and an essay.3-D: Artists will submit three to five images and an essay.Photography: Artists will submit a maximum of two images and an essay. All qualified entries may be showcased.  Because artwork will be viewed online, pay particular attention to the lighting and background of images submitted for judging.  

Award Notification 

All qualified entries will be judged online and may be displayed at www.suttoncenter.org.
Winning entries will be notified via email and entries will be displayed at www.suttoncenter.org.
Top award winners will have artwork collected and displayed at the Sutton Award Showcase.
Checks will be mailed out to the students and instructors at the school address after the Sutton Award Showcase.
The judging committee’s decisions are final, and no correspondence will be exchanged with judges.
