PROSPECTUS
Opening Reception: Friday, March 6, 6 - 8 pmPublic Art Exhibition & Sale: March 7 - 22, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 12 - 5 pm
Exhibit Space: AOY Art Center, 949 Mirror Lake Road, Yardley, PA

Entry Fee and Registration
The entry fee is $25. A 30% commission will be taken on each sale.
Click here to register and pay the fee. Your confirmation email will contain a link to ArtCall where you will enter your art images. All images must be entered into ArtCall prior to February 21, 11:59 pm. All submissions must be original art (see Exhibition Specifications below).Each artist may submit up to FIVE framed 2D or 3D pieces. Additionally, up to THREE portfolio pieces may be dropped off but these pieces will not be entered into ArtCall, as they are not part of the online gallery.Of the five submitted works, you may designate ONE as "Not for Sale."

Eligibility
Only new AOY members who joined between January 1 and December 31, 2025 are eligible to participate.

Volunteer Requirement
Participating artists are required to serve as gallery hosts for at least 2.5 hours during the exhibition. (Artists with medical exemptions are still encouraged to enter.) Sign Up to Volunteer HERE.

Promotions
All artists are expected to help promote the show through social media, distributing materials to local businesses, and personal outreach.AOY will promote the show via mailings, advertisements, press releases, and social media.Artists grant permission for their entries to be used for promotional purposes, including publication in the Online Gallery.

Exhibition Specifications
Submission Guidelines:
Artists may submit up to FIVE original works in any medium, including painting, works on paper, mixed media, photography, digital art, jewelry, pottery, and sculpture.Exclusions: Film and video are not eligible. Giclées or reproductions are not permitted (except in Portfolio pieces).
Requirements:
All works must be hand-delivered during designated drop-off times.No framed or 3D work may be removed before the exhibition's end.
Framed Pieces:
Framed works (including the frame) may not exceed 42" on the longest side.Maximum weight: 20 poundsMust be wired with D-hooks and ready for hanging (unwired pieces will be declined).Frames should be unmarred.A completed identification tag must be affixed to the back. You will be able to generate this in ArtCall.
3D Pieces:
Must be stable and fit within the gallery’s glass showcases.Artists must provide structurally sound, finished stands/displays for their work.A completed identification tag must accompany each piece. You will be able to generate this in ArtCall.
Portfolio Pieces:
Up to THREE portfolio pieces may be submitted per artist. These are not included in the Online Gallery.Pieces must be unframed (mats optional) and protected in clear acetate sleeves, securely closed.Maximum size: 25" on the longest side.Giclées or prints are allowed but must be clearly marked.Identification tags must be affixed to the front. Tag should include artist name, title of work, medium and price.Portfolio pieces may be taken by buyers upon purchase and do not need to remain in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition.

Artist’s Statement
Since you are a new member, we would like to get to know you better. Please email an artist’s statement to Maureen Kyle at admin@aoyarts.org. Ideally the statement should cover the what, how and why of your work, explaining any themes, processes, inspirations and goals in clear, concise language. 

Online Gallery
All framed and 3D entries submitted via ArtCall will appear in the Online Gallery at aoyarts.org.The gallery will open for viewing on March 6 at 6 pm, concurrent with the Opening Reception.Sales will be conducted online throughout the exhibition.

Liability
AOY Art Center will take all precautions to protect artwork but is not responsible for damage or loss.

Agreement
By submitting artwork, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this prospectus. AOY reserves the right to reject any work that is not professionally presented, improperly wired, or delivered late.
