PROSPECTUS

The AOY Members Show 2026

We are excited to invite you to participate in the AOY Members Show 2026, our annual celebration of the talent and creativity of our member artists and artisans. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your work to fellow AOY artists and the community at large.

Key Details2D Artists: Limited to TWO framed or gallery finished pieces per member, same as last year. Entries should not exceed 36" on the longest side, which includes the frame. Space is limited to 140 total 2D entries, accepted on a first come, first served basis, based on your finalized submission date in ArtCall.

3D Artists: Limited to TWO pieces per member to be displayed in our gallery showcases. 3D work is not included in the 140-piece cap but space will be monitored as needed.

Entry Deadline is Saturday, August 29 — but don’t wait! 2D spaces may fill up before the deadline.

Exhibit Dates

Artists' Reception: Sunday, September 13, 3 – 5 pm
Public Art Exhibition & Sale:

        September 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 12 – 5 pm         Art on the Farm Day: September 20, 10 am – 4 pm

        September 25 - 27, 12 – 5 pm

Registration Process

Register HERE via the AOY website (includes $30 nonrefundable fee).
Once payment is received, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the 2026 Members Show in ArtCall. (The platform replaced Entrythingy last year). If you don’t already have a profile in ArtCall you will need to set that up before submitting your pieces and details regarding your artwork.

Your $30 entry fee includes:

TWO framed 2D works OR TWO 3D pieces
Option to bring up to two additional portfolio pieces at drop-off (portfolio work is not submitted via ArtCall)

Another reminder to submit your work in ArtCall early, as space is limited.

Eligibility

All current members of AOY Art Center are eligible to enter.
AOY welcomes new members to join and to exhibit. Join AOY
SIGN UP HEREAll participating Member Artists are expected and required to volunteer as gallery hosts for a minimum of 2.5 hours during the exhibition. (Members with medical exemptions limiting their ability to gallery host are still invited to enter the show.)SIGN UP HEREAll participating Member Artists are expected to assist with promoting the show via their social media, distribution of materials to area businesses, and friends, etc.

Promotions

AOY will promote this show via mailings, advertisements, press releases and social media. All entries to this exhibition are subject to use for promotional purposes and the artist gives permission for the same as well as publication in the Online Gallery. The Online Gallery will be made public as of September 11 at 12 pm at aoyarts.org.

Sales

AOY will take 30% commission on all sales. Artist’s checks will be issued within two weeks of the close of the exhibition.

Exhibition Specifications

Each Member Artist may submit TWO original works* of any media (paintings, works on paper, mixed media, photography, digital art, jewelry, pottery and sculpture) for exhibition and sale, excluding film and video. No giclees or reproductions will be accepted except in portfolio submissions.
Artwork must not have been previously shown at AOY. Art shown during solo shows held at AOY and Art on the Farm may still be entered in this show.
All works must be hand delivered during the designated dates/times.

No 2D or 3D work included in the exhibit may be removed before the advertised end of the show. This does not include unframed portfolio pieces.

2D Pieces (TWO per Member Artist)

Size limit for all framed pieces and unframed gallery canvas works is 36" including frame on the longest sideMaximum weight is 10 poundsAll work must be wired with d-hooks and ready for hanging or it will be declinedAll frames should be unmarredA completed identification tag (see below) must be affixed to the back
3D Pieces (TWO per Member Artist)
Three dimensional and assembled works must be stable and fit within the glass showcases in the main galleryArtists must provide a stand/display that is finished and structurally soundArtists should provide appropriate packaging for sales, if applicableA completed identification tag (see below) must be affixed to it

Portfolio Pieces (up to TWO per Member Artist) These pieces will not be entered in ArtCall and therefore will not be included in the Online Gallery.You will sign these in at Drop Off.

Artwork must be unframed (mats optional), properly protected in a clear acetate sleeve, and properly closed/secured

Online Gallery

All 2D and 3D entries entered into ArtCall will be included in the Online Gallery at aoyarts.orgThe online gallery will be open for viewing as of September 11, 12 pmSales will be conducted online 24/7 through the duration of the exhibition 
LIABILITY
AOY Art Center will do its utmost to protect work in its possession, but the organization is not responsible for damage or loss. 
AGREEMENT
By submitting artwork to this event, you agree to the conditions set forth. AOY reserves the right to reject any work not professionally presented, not properly wired, etc. at the discretion of the Center. Work delivered late will not be included in the exhibit.

Use the labels provided by ArtCall for 2D and 3D pieces entered into ArtCall and attach to the back of the piece.

*Please Note: For the purposes of this exhibition, the term “Original Work” means:
Original work is artwork that represents the artist's own concept, design, and execution and is not a copy, derivative, or reproduction of another person's work. Works created through instruction, workshops, tutorials, or with the assistance of AI are eligible only when they clearly reflect the artist's own original creative vision and substantial personal execution. 
Artwork submitted which does not meet this definition may be omitted from the exhibition.
