2026 Exhibition Dates: February – March 1, 2026
The WSNC Online Associates Exhibition spotlights the incredible range of talent of our associate level artists— whether you just joined this year or have been painting with us for decades. All submitted works will be displayed in the online gallery – no framing or shipping required.

AWARDS
One award will be presented in each of the following categories:
Animal & WildlifeAbstractLandscapePortrait & FigureStill Life & Floral
Each of these awards will be selected by a WSNC signature artist
who specializes in that category. These judges understand the challenges and joys of painting within their chosen subjects and will be looking for creativity, originality, and strong watercolor technique.
Alongside the judged awards, the online gallery will be open for viewing and public voting. All visitors will be invited to cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award and select the painting that most captures the spirit of the exhibition.
Awards will be announced during our online awards ceremony on March 1, and all award winners will receive a certificate of recognition and be featured on WSNC’s social media platforms.
ELIGIBILITY
The WSNC Eastern Regional Exhibition is open to all WSNC associate members. Membership dues must be paid at the time of entry.Each artist may submit (1)
one entry.Artwork must be the original creation of the artist and not completed under instruction, copied, or derived from another artist’s work (including AI-generated or digital imagery).Work must have been completed on or after January 1, 2023 (past three years).Artwork previously exhibited in any WSNC Annual Juried Exhibition are not eligible; however, works exhibited in WSNC on-line and regional exhibitions are welcome.
Acceptable Media: Water-based media including watercolor, gouache, water-based ink, casein, acrylic, egg tempera, and watercolor pencil/stick/crayon. Water media must be dominant.

Acceptable Surfaces: Watercolor paper, watercolor board, clay board, or Yupo. Gesso or absorbent grounds are acceptable.

Not Permitted: Collage, pastel, water-based oils, canvas, prints, reproductions, or digital artwork.

Entry fee: $5.
Each entry must include Title of work, size of work (with and without mat & frame) the year created, and the price of work. (If not for sale, mark as $0.00. )
Digital images must:
Be in JPEG format, under 5 MB.Cropped to show only the painting image (no frame or mat).Be at least 1,200 pixels on the longest side.
By entering, artists acknowledge they have read and agree to comply with this Prospectus.
LIABILITY
Artists acknowledge that their work will be publicly displayed online and may be offered for sale. WSNC assumes no responsibility for loss, copyright infringement, or disputes arising from sales or online display of artwork.
SALES
All artists are welcome to sell their work in the gallery. If you do not wish to sell your piece, please mark it as $0.00.    
All sales will be conducted directly between the artist and the buyer.
WSNC will not take a commission on any sale. Prospective buyers may contact artists through the “Send Inquiry” feature in the online gallery.
Artists are responsible for finalizing all transactions and for shipping sold works to buyers. WSNC assumes no responsibility for any part of the sales process.
