SMALL WORKS MARKET PROSPECTUS 2025
It’s that time of year again! We invite you to unleash your creativity on a smaller scale for the 2025 Small Works Holiday Art Market – our annual celebration of compact, inspired creations. This event is an opportunity to showcase your artistry in pieces that may be small in size but grand in quality and imagination.The Small Works Market has grown into a Holiday Art Market, where the spirit of the season meets the joy of art collecting. Buyers can purchase your pieces and take them home immediately, perfect for holiday gifting! Your work will be part of an in-person and online experience, bringing it to a wide audience ready to share in the holiday magic. This is your chance to bring the beauty of your smaller pieces to an audience eager for unique, handmade treasures.Mark your calendars! The event will run from Friday, December 5, to Saturday, December 20. Please check below for submission details and additional information about showcasing your work.

Pick Up Work: Saturday, December 20, 5 - 7 pm OR Monday, December 22, 10 am - 12 pm

Only Members of AOY Art Center are eligible to submit work for this exhibit. All works must be for sale. AOY will take 30% of sales for individual items priced $100 or over. 
A reminder this is a “cash and carry” event, which means that visitors can purchase original artwork and take it home that day to give or share for the holidays. This show will be in person and also online. There is no “backfilling” of pieces once sold.
All participating artists and artisans are expected to sign up to serve as a Gallery Host for at least one 2.5 hour shift. We use SignUpGenius, please Click Here.

How to Register: Click here to register for the Small Works Market and pay the registration fee. Once your registration is complete you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to ArtCall where you can log in and enter your pieces. (If you don’t already have an ArtCall account you will need to create one. Keep in mind that the password you use for your AOY member account will not work in ArtCall). The fee for 2D entries is $20. 2D artists may enter up to 3 pieces per entry
The total fee for 3D entries depends upon the size of the shelf you will rent. A small shelf (10”x34”) rental is $30 (the entry fee of $20 + $10 rental fee) and a large shelf (10”x55”) rental is $40 (the entry fee of $20 + $20 rental fee). 3D artists - please be advised there are a limited number of shelves (6 of each size) so shelf rental is on a first come/ first serve. 3D artists may enter up to 10 pieces per entry.

All Entries must be finalized no later than Saturday, November 29
2D Artists: Artists in any medium may submit. No artwork can be larger than 11”x14” (excluding the frame). Artists can set the price but it must be priced at $300 or less. The maximum number of 2D entries per artist is 3. 
All 2D work must be professionally presented, wired with d-hooks and ready for hanging. Oil paintings should be dry. All unframed work should be gallery finished (painted sides), and ready to hang with D-rings and wires. No eye hooks or sawtooth brackets will be accepted. No poster frames or frames with stands will be accepted.  Each piece must have a completed artwork ID tag attached to the back of the work. ArtCall does the tag, you just need to print and attach. 
Pottery, Jewelry and 3D Artisans Renting a Shelf: Exhibitors must provide their own displays and appropriate gift box/bag. 3D Artists renting a shelf may enter up to 10 pieces. 
Deliver Your Artwork: Sunday, November 30, 12 - 2 pm OR Monday, December 1, 10 am - 12 pm. There is no acceptance of work after the scheduled drop-off dates. All works must be for sale. Entries are to be delivered to AOY Art Center, 949 Mirror Lake Road, Yardley, PA.

Promotion: AOY will promote the Small Works show in the December issue of ICON magazine and print 2500 - 5000 postcards for Every Door Direct Distribution with our Holiday greeting on the “address” side and Small Works promotion on the reverse. These postcards will be distributed to homes in Yardley, Newtown and Langhorne zip codes. All members are asked to assist in promoting the show via their own social media networks.
Pick Up Unsold Works: All unsold work must be picked up Saturday, December 20, 5 - 7 pm OR Monday, December 22, 10 am - 12 pm. If you need special arrangements, please email Bette. Any work left after December 22, will be subject to a $5 a day storage fee and will become the property of AOY after 10 days.
Agreement: By submitting artwork to this event, you agree to the conditions set forth. AOY reserves the right to reject any work not professionally presented. Acceptability is at the discretion of the show committee.  
Liability: AOY will do its utmost to protect work in its possession, but the organization is not responsible for damage, or loss.

Artwork ID Tags: Print tags from ArtCall or make your own with the following information: Title, Artist Name, Medium, Price. Be sure to affix to the back of the piece.
