2025 Sears Art Museum Invitational Show & Sale
Call for Artists: 38th Annual Sears Invitational Art Show & Sale
Utah Tech Sears Art Museum proudly announces the 38th Annual Sears Invitational Art Show & Sale, a celebrated event in St. George, Utah. Esteemed as one of the premier art events in the state, the exhibition & sale showcase a diverse range of artistic talent, selected by a distinguished committee of artists and art professionals. The exhibition and sale run from February 15 through March 30, 2025.
Submission Guidelines:
Dates: The call for artists will be open August 15 through November 1, 2024.
Entries: Artists may submit up to 4 works, with a maximum of 2 pieces accepted for the exhibition.Each art piece needs to be a separate entry.You can change each entry up until the close date of November 1, 2024.
Selection: Approximately 100 artists will be chosen to participate by the jury.
Eligibility: Artists based in the American West are eligible, with priority given to those from Utah, Idaho, Colorado, and Nevada.
Please note, artists outside Utah will need to cover round-trip shipping costs.
Benefits and Opportunities:
Exhibition and Sale: This event provides a unique opportunity to sell your artwork and gain exposure. 60% of each sale goes to the artist, with the remaining 40% supporting the museum's fundraiser, which funds part-time positions, exhibition supplies, and more.
Exhibition Catalog: An illustrated catalog featuring the selected artworks will be published, offering additional exposure.
Art Pickup and Drop-off: Free pickup and drop-off services for artwork will be available in Orem, Salt Lake City, and Ogden, Utah.
