Call for Artists!      'Art in Movement'

Join us for the 2025 LS Creates Fundraiser for the Arts

We are excited to invite artists to participate in our upcoming LS Creates Art Fundraiser & Auction Art in Movement. This will be a fun evening of art, community, and support. This event will feature both a Silent Auction and a Live Auction, showcasing the work of talented local and regional artists. Proceeds will benefit Art Sponsorship Funds and the Summit Art Fair, helping foster creativity and culture in our community.

Silent Auction
20 pieces totalMaximum size: 16" x 20" (including frame, if applicable)Any medium is welcome — paintings, photography, mixed media, sculpture, etc.Signed prints allowedArtists may submit up to 3 works for consideration.Artist sets price — we suggest a minimum bid of $200.Artists may submit up to 3 works for consideration.
Live Painting Auction
2-3 Artists will be chosen for the Live PaintingMaximum size: 24" x 36" (including frame)Any medium — pieces can be started in advance and finished live, then auctioned that night.
Compensation & Promotion
Proceeds from each artwork will be split 50% to the artist / 50% to the fundraiser.Each auction listing will include a QR code linking to the artist’s website or shop for direct sales and future commissions.Selected artists will receive:One free ticket to the eventDinnerTwo drink tickets
Important Dates
Call announced: August 12, 2025Submission deadline: September 12, 2025Notification of acceptance: September 20, 2025
Additional Requirements
All participating artists must submit a W-9 form for payment processing.Work must be ready to hang or display.Artists are responsible for delivery and pickup of unsold work.

How to Apply
Submit up to 3 pieces (images & descriptions) along with your contact information, short artist bio, and W-9 form by September 12, 2025.
* PLEASE NOTE you may submit an application for both the silent auction AND live painting/raffle, but you must apply do an application for each category. *
