The Exhibitions Committee is in the process of organizing solo and group exhibitions for 2019. This is a very competitive program as RAL can only accept a limited number of proposals each year. Artworks in any media will be reviewed. The RAL is situated in the town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware- a highly traveled area not only by the residents of this and the expanding surrounding communities, but also by art patrons from the Washington DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York metropolitan areas. Over 29,000 people participate in Rehoboth Art League programs annually.

Since the Rehoboth Art League’s beginnings, special exhibitions have played an important part of our programming.  The RAL Henlopen Acres Campus houses the Corkran,Tubbs and Ventures galleries, as well as the Historic Homestead. The campus also offers almost four (4) wooded acres that serve as a special exhibition space for outdoor art. 

You will need to have the following information for this call:

Five (5) representational images of works (in the genre of your proposed exhibition).  These need not be works that  will necessarily be included in your exhibition, but typical of the types of work that will be produced.
A working exhibition title
An artist statement pertaining to your proposed exhibition 
A Summary Bio/CV

Quick Details:

The Rehoboth Art League has an extensive PR network. Exhibitions are promoted though a wide range of outlets.
Professional installation and de-installation of works are directly handled by the artistic director. 
Commissions: The artist will receive a sixty-five percent (65%) payment for any works sold during an exhibition. Following the exhibition the artist must pay a thirty-five (35%) percent commission to the RAL for any work(s) sold outside of the RAL to a buyer who was introduced to the work(s) while on display during this exhibition. All NFS (Not For Sale) works must be agreed upon with the artistic director. Additional details will be made available upon the acceptance of your proposal. Each artist (or group of artists) are required to submit a total of 5 images of their work. For group proposals, each artist must have an example of their work within the five images.

By submitting works into this exhibition, you agree to the above terms and conditions. 

 Submission images must be less than 4MB each.  Upon each submission, you will receive an email confirming acceptance.
