Call for Entries: PCCA’s 10th Annual Juried Exhibition

Perry County Council of the Arts (PCCA) is now accepting entries for its Annual Juried Exhibition, which will be on display at Landis House, 67 North 4th Street, Newport, from September 3 to November 14, 2024. Entries are due on Wednesday, July 17.

All original artwork is eligible for entry in the categories: Painting; Water Media; Photography and Digital; 3-Dimensional art (sculpture, pottery, jewelry, fiber, etc.); and Other Media (pastel, mixed media, drawing, collage, printmaking and encaustic). Work previously shown in PCCA exhibits will not be accepted, and artwork must have been completed within the last three years. Reproductions, such as prints of paintings or drawings will not be accepted.

A total of $1,500 in cash prizes will be awarded, including:

• Best of Show, All Media – $250
• First Place in each category – $100
• Second Place in each category – $75
• Third Place in each category – $50
• People’s Choice Award – $125

CALENDAR – IMPORTANT DATES*
JULY 17: All entry materials must be emailed
August 7: Notification of accepted or rejected artwork via email
AUGUST 19-23: Art delivery at Landis House, 67 N. Fourth St., Newport
SEP 3 – NOV 14: Exhibition is on display at Landis House
SEP 6: Public exhibition reception at Landis House, 6-8 PM. All are welcome to attend.
NOV 14: Last Day of Exhibition
NOV 19 – 22: Pickup of artwork not continuing to Art on Tour at the Pennsylvania State Capitol in December.
