Wisconsin Prints

A curated exhibition of artwork created by artists working in Southern Wisconsin.

In addition, each of the exhibiting artists will select work by a student who is currently studying fine art and shows exceptional promise, in the field of Printmaking. The curator will award 3 scholarship prizes to several of the younger artists with prize money be used to offset supply costs at their schools.

There is no theme.  This is a small to medium-sized artworks show, due to wall construction.  The walls are 48" wide  - Max size allowed is 48" 
The premise of the show is to showcase Artists currently working in Wisconsin and who are working in the print.

Another aspect of the exhibition will be for each participant to select one or two students to submit prints for inclusion in the exhibition. The curator will select three students to receive materials scholarship that will be paid to their institution for lab or materials fees.

Wisconsin Prints will be on exhibit at the Kenosha Creative Space from October 27th, through November 2nd, 2019
With a reception for the artists and live musical performance, by Hub New Music will be held at the Kenosha Creative Space.

Scholarships will be awarded to student exhibitors as follows 
250.00 First Prize,
150.00 Second Prize
100.00 Third Prize  
PLUS The work of the student winners will be featured on the front cover of the Kenosha Community Foundation's Annual Report for 2019

Works selected will be on exhibit at the KCS Exhibition Space, 624 57th St. Kenosha WI 53140 from September 27, through November 2, 2019. The Kenosha Creative Space is committed to creating economic opportunities for local artists, musicians, creatives, entrepreneurs and their local partner organizations. The partner organizations and individual supporters share the goal of using their collective resources for the mutual benefit of the Kenosha Creative Space, the creative community and the community at large.
