NSCA Youth Exhibition 2024
On view June 1st through June 16th, 2024
Submissions Due: Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 11:59pm CST.
The North Suburban Center for the Arts (NSCA) is excited to accept submissions for our next exhibition focused on artwork created by artists 18 and under! Artists may submit up to two artworks to include in the exhibition. All forms of artistic mediums are encouraged!
The North Suburban Center for the Arts (NSCA) seeks to foster creativity in all our community members, regardless of age. This exhibition will highlight creative works by local artists, ages 18 and under. Artists may submit work they've already created, artwork created especially for the exhibition, or a mixture of both!
For example, you might:
Draw a creature you've imagined and its environment!
Design a house, car, or rocketship!
Experiment with different art materials and see what happens!
Build an itty bitty model of a place you've visited or dreamed about!
Find inspiration outdoors and create something new!

Note: All artworks will be accepted for display. Artwork drop off will be held May 23rd-25th by appointment. Parents/guardians will receive a link to schedule your drop off appointment following submission.

Submissions
Artists may submit up to two artworks for consideration.
Artworks must arrive ready-to-hang (e.g. framed). All mediums and subjects will be considered, however art equal or less than 2x2 ft will be considered first due to our limited gallery space.
Additionally, due to limited electrical access, plug-in artworks may not be accepted due to facility limitations.

Fees: $10 to submit one artwork or $15 to submit two artworks
Submission fees help the art center offset costs associated with the exhibition and directly fund the ArtCall platform, administrative processing, exhibition, and promotional materials.
The NSCA offers a number of fee waivers for every exhibition. If the application fee poses a financial barrier for you at this time in your artistic career, please use the following codes: "YOUTH50" to receive 50% off your submission fee or "YOUTH100" to waive the fee completely.
