Juror:
Sandra Schaffer’s medium is watercolor. She also has an appreciation for the creativity and expertise involved in creating outstanding works in the other mediums invited to be submitted here as well. She is not an abstract painter. However, she loves beautiful abstract works. She was the Juror of the Professional Arts Division for the Kansas State Fair. Internationally, she exhibited work in the Japan/USA Exchange Show, the Korean/Japan/USA Exchange Show and for two years was an American participant in the Fabriano Aquarelle Invitational. Her work has been published in a number of Splash Watercolor publications, as well as in Best of America Watercolor Artists and Best of Worldwide Watermedia Artists. Additionally, Sandra is a signature member of National Watercolor Society, Watercolor USA Honor Society and Transparent Watercolor Society of America, and is past president of Watercolor USA Honor Society. She has served as juror for Watercolor USA at the Springfield Art Museum, Illinois Watercolor Society and Missouri Watercolor Society.  Website:   sandraschaffer1.com

Eligibility: Artists age 18 and over are eligible to enter the exhibition.
 
Artwork accepted into any of IMAGES’ past juried shows is not eligible for this show.
 

Media & Specifications: Works in acrylic, oil, water media, pastel, drawing, original print-making, mixed-media, digital art, photography, sculpture, jewelry, fiber, wood, glass, and ceramics are eligible. No art piece can exceed a height or width of 40 inches, including frame. All work must be original by the artist.  No giclee prints.  Sculptures must be independently stable.  All 2-D work must be framed (unless canvas with wrapped sides or metal) and wired for hanging (NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS ACCEPTED). Each work must be clearly labeled on the back with artist’s name, address, telephone #, title of work, media, and price.
 
ENTRY PROCEDURE
 
Up to 3 entries per artist.  *** Please study the specs and instructions below for uploading your submission images *** 
$30 for up to 3 images. Submit only digital images of your artwork.  Standard JPG format, smaller than 5MB in size and with longest dimension no more than 1920 pixels.  

Original attachment filenames are discarded, as all filenames are programatically renamed on upload.
Submission attachments must be under 5mb.  Suggest resolution set to approximately 240ppi.
Submission attachments are permanently resized into 3 separate sizes (regardless of the original size): 100px, 1080px, maximum saved dimension setting (1920px by default)

IMAGES ART GALLERY may use selected artwork digitals for publicity purposes.
 
IMAGES ART GALLERY will exercise reasonable caution in handling and showing of artworks, but assumes no further responsibility. 
 
All artwork must be for sale. Artists will receive 70% on any piece sold. No change to prices stated on entry form is permitted. All artwork must be hand delivered and picked up on the appropriate dates.  All work must remain in the exhibition until exhibition closing.
 
ANY WORK LEFT BEYOND 30 DAYS OF THE PICKUP DATE BECOMES THE PROPERTY OF IMAGES ART GALLERY.

June 14: Latest date for notice of acceptance and non-acceptance emails sent
July 13 and 14: Delivery of artworks - Noon - 4:00pm
July 19: Opening Reception 5:00 - 8:00 pm   Awards Announcement: 7:00 pm
August 10 & 11: Pick up Artwork Noon - 4:00 pm

If you cannot pick up your work at this time, please arrange for someone to do so for you.
 
Any artwork that is substantially different from the entry, or with damaged or poor quality framing, will be declined and no refund of fees returned.
